Spring is in the air, which means it’s time to get outside after the long and cold winter. While some think you must spend thousands of dollars to have fun, that is not the case. There are many things fun things to do on a budget that people take for granted. Discover some activities you can do with your friends and family this spring.
1. Zoo
Gong to the zoo is a great way to spend a day. There are many zoos across the country that have free admission. So, experience the incredible wildlife from around the world - it’s an activity children and adults can enjoy.
2. Bike Ride
Getting on a bike and exploring mother nature is another fun thing to do on a budget this spring. Finding a bike trail shouldn’t be too difficult because there are over 2,000 in the country. If you do not have a bike, there are also plenty of places where you can rent one.
3. Go to a Local Park

Spring is such a beautiful time of the year and creates the ultimate opportunity to pick up some fresh food. Travel to a nearby farmer’s market and pick out some produce that is not only healthier, but also more affordable than going to your local grocery store.
6. Drive-in Movie Theater
The change in weather means you want to be outside as much as possible. Enjoying a movie at a drive-in theater could be the most nostalgic way to spend a comfortable night under the stars.
7. Have A Bomb Fire
There are plenty of affordable fire pits available to throw an awesome bomb fire in your backyard. Relax, and enjoy making some delicious smores and cooking some hot dogs for the family.

Visiting your local museums is another great way to spend your day while also gaining a bit of knowledge. There are plenty of free museums you can visit with friends and family. They are a great place to appreciate history, science, or art in an interactive environment.
